Yoga Word of the Week

Our first entry of the new "Yoga Word of the Week" series is Tapas. No, not tiny, tasty savories, but "observances or practices performed to disipline the body and the sense organs. By means of tapas impurities are destroyed, mind and intellect are purified, and the body and senses are perfected."

All that craziness on Sunday's- tapas
Eating Veg- tapas
Mindful of how many drinks you've had- tapas
"Deep Breathing, Good Sound"- tapas

[ The perfection of the body and sense organs is due to intensity in spiritual practice, being the elimination of impurities.]
